Sofia Schreiber is a junior at Rhode Island School of Design pursuing a BFA in Illustration with a concentration in Literary Arts and Studies.
She is an artist and writer who enjoys creating illustrations for picture books, articles, murals, and zines. Most recently, she’s been creating poetry comics and exploring the motifs of textiles within her illustrations.
For Sofia, art making means slowing down and noticing the overlooked moments of everyday life and listening closely to the non-human natural world. She finds that listening to and documenting these things help to guide her, and hopefully others, in creating more nurturing, joyful, and reciprocal connections with each other, and with the environment.
